Australia's War Expenses Race Past Estimates MILLIONS MOUNTING JOE'^V Rec 2 p.m. CANBERRA, this day.' At the present rate of war expenditure Australia's Budget estimate for the year will probably be exceeded by more than £100,000,000 It is announced by the Treasury that Australia's war expenditure for the ten months ended April 30 was £451,445.000. This represents more than £11,000,000 a week. The total is already £11.445,000 more.than the Budget estimate of £440,000,000 for the financial year. Of money already soent £359,484,000 came from loan funds, and £91,961,000 from revenue.
