BOARD SEEKS AUTHORITY Urging the necessity for the construction of the eastern wing of the Green Lane Hospital to meet many requirements, and also for the construction of the chest hospital, Mr. Allan J. Moody, chairman, told Auckland Hospital Board members last night that there was an alarming increase in tuberculosis in New Zealand. On his motion, the board decided to seek authority from the Health Department to proceed with the construction of the eastern wing of the Green Lane Hospital.
