BAILLIE—NERHENY BRIDE WEABS WHITE SATIN A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Benedict's Chtrrch on Saturday afternoon ..when Kathleen Monica Nerheny, youngest, daughter of Mrs. D. Nerheny and the late Mr. H. Nerheny, of 27, Richmond Road, Ponsonby, was married to David Lawe Baillie, eldest son of Mrs. E. Hughes, of Birkdale. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. P. J. Nerheny, wore a charming gown of white satin, with a long full train trimmed with true lovers' knots and a tulle veil falling from a Tudor cap of chantilly lace. She carried a sheath of white pyrethrums and chrysanthemums. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. N. O. Dixon, as matron of honour, and Miss N. Herring, as bridesmaid. Their white taeta frocks, cut on the same lines as the bride's, were slightly trained and trimmed with blue lovers' knots. They wore blue period hats and carried sheaths of white chrysanthemums and blue agathea and blue ageratum. The best man was Gunner R. C. Allen and Aircraftman O. R. Kenny acted as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Fountain of Friendship Hall, Symonds Street, where the guests were received by the bride's mother, who wore a frock of teal wool-de-chine, with a silver fox fur and navy hat, and the bridegroom's mother, who wore a navy ensemble trimmed with dusky pink and hat to match.
