MARTIAL LAW IN HOLLAND

DEATH SENTENCE WARNINGS Rec. 2.30 p.m. RUGBY, May 9. Holland is in a state of extreme tension. On the eve of the third anniversary of the invasion of Holland, martial law has been declared by Germany throughout Holland. A curfew has been imposed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., and death sentences will be the penalty for disobedience of the new laws. The same penalty will be inflicted upon anyone found distributing pamphlets inciting opposition.
