WOMEN AND WAR WORK
After reading about Mr. Bevin's recent report on women "for essential war work in Great Britain, it makes me think that he would find a happy hunting ground in our own country towns. The mecca in which I live, for-non-war-conscious damsels, ranging from 19 years to 24 years, who are filling jobs that 15-year-olds could be doing well, is truly amazing.
