BOYS' BRIGADE PROGRESS
NEW COMPANIES FORMED Reports presented at the tenth annual meetinpf of the Auckland battalion of the Boys' Brigade showed there are now 34 companies, including three new companies, while two others are reported to be holding preliminary parades. Twenty-one teams, with a total membership of 376, are in the life boy section. A shield for annual competition, to be known as "The Officers' Shield," has been secured for presentation to the company gaining the highest aggregate in the five sections of Boys' Brigade competitions. The examinations officer said that 561 certificates and badges had been awarded during the year. An election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. F. E. Wooller (re-elected), president elect, Mr. S. George; .secretary, Rev. D. Hickman; treasurer, Mr. J. T. Gager; Life Boy supervisor, Mr. E. J. Sherlock; examinations officer, Mr. E. B. Morrison; executive, Messrs. F. E. AVooller, S. George, D. Hickman, J. T. Gager, E. J. Sherlock, E. B. Morrison, L. Honeycomb and C. V. Fulljames.
