PALESTINE LEAVE CAMP

K.Z.E.F. Official War Correspondent JERUSALEM, May 4. When their convalescent camp was in Palestine, the New Zealand peaked hat was very familiar to inhabitants of the Holy Land, and New Zealanders saw"much of the historically interesting spots. Now, a leave camp is established on the Palestinian coast, less than an hour's motoring from Jerusalem, Nazareth and Telaviv. The camp is well equipped, and is open to all ranks. No charges are levied against personnel below the rank of sergeant. Men on leave are free to make the camp a base for excusions and entertainment and sight - seeing are arranged for them. An attractive feature is swimming in the Mediterranean.
