In the Auckland province the total expenditure had been £8363, or about £160 a week. The sum of £3126 was expended in connection with the Evelyn Firth Home, of which £2153 was capital expenditure. Fairview Home accounted for £352, and general administration charges were £1015, representing 12 per cent of the total outlay.
