PERSONAL

Professor T. D. J. Leech returned from Wellington this morning. Mr. H. J. Hulse, president of the Auckland Master Builders' Association, has returned from Wellington. Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.C., and Mr. J. B. Johnston have returned from Wellington. The Minister of Mines, Mr. Webb, and Mr. B. Martin, M.L.C., were in Hamilton to-day. Mr. D. Holderness, superintendent and engineer of the Auckland Harbour Board, returned from Wellington this morning. The Rev. J. F. Goldie, in charge of the activities of the Methodist Missionary Society of New Zealand "in the Western Solomons, has arrived from the south.
