CLIFTON.—On May 8. 1943 (suddenly). at Takanlni. William Foster, husband of the late Mary Clifton, and beloved father of Doris. Oily, William. George and Bernie; aged 72 years. The funeral will leave C. Little and Son. 209. Hobson Street, at 1.30 p.m. on Monday for Hillsboro Cemetery.

MOORE.—On May 7, 1943. Arthur Ernest (Johnnie), dearly loved husband of Mary Adelaide (Estella) Moore, and father of Geoffrey A. Moore of Rotorua; aged 50 years. Passed peacefully away at the Rotorua Public Hospital. MOORE.—On May 7. at Rotorua.. Arthur Ernest (Johnnie), dearly loved son of Elizabeth and the late Ernest Moore and lovir.g brother of Lily Moore, of Philson Road. Brown's Bay. BOWE.—On May 7. at Auckland. Kathleen, only loved daughter of M. V. and the late W. J. (Dick) Rowe. late of Nelson and Dannevirke. Cremated this day.
BTONEY.—On May 8. 1943. at Auckland Hospital, (after a short illness). Ethel Edith, beloved wife of Vivian Butler Stoney. Arranhill. Silverdale, and daughter of the late. Mr. and Mrs. B. Garnham, Blenheim and St. Helier's. Funeral will leave W. H. Tongue and Son's Chapel on Monday at 1.30 p.m. for Hillsboro'. WALKER.—On May 7 (suddenly), at. 6. Charlotte Street, Eden Terrace, Josephine, widow of Walter Oakman Walker and loved mother of Dave. Edith. Bram. Alma and Walter (overseas). A service will be held at T. J. Mclvor and Sons, 434, Karangahipe Road at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, the funeral then leaving for Hillsboro' Cemetery.

Walter Joseph, dearly beloved eldest son of Susan Agatha and the late Patrick Walsh: and loving brother of Gerti", Rita and Cyril. R.I.P. A devoted son and brother Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Michaels Church. Remuera. at 9 a.m. on Monday. May 10. Time of funeral later.
