PERSONAL

Mr. W. A. Donald has returned from Wellington. Mr. G. C. W. Reid returned from Wellington this morning. Mr. C. G. White, a director of the Union Steam Ship Company, Limited, is'at the Station Hotel. Mr. R. C. Porter, president of the Auckland Ironmasters' Association, has returned from Wellington. Dr. L. Ludbrook left last night for Dunedin, where he-will conduct examinations at Otago University. The Minister of Armed Forces and War Co-ordination, Mr. Coates, arrived from the south this morning. Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.C., and Mr. J. B. Johnston travelled to Wellington last night to attend an executive meeting of the New Zealand Law Society.
