CROSSING FATALITY
MAN KILLED BY TRAIN ELDERLY AUCKLAND WIDOWER Struck by the Taneatua-Auckland express shortly after six o'clock last evening at the Mangere crossing, an elderly man was killed instantly. He was:— Mr. William Henry Winstonc, aged 86; a widower, of Fergusson Avenue, Sandringham. -An inquest was opened this morning at Otahuhu into Mr. Winstone s death, and adjourned after evidence of identification had been given.
