TRAINING OF YOUTHS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Youths under 20 who have been released from camp in accordance with the recent War Cabinet decision will be required to perform military service with the non-mobilised Territorial Force units in the same way as other demobilised personnel, said the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, tonight Apparently it was thought in some quarters that these youths would no longer be required to perform service on release, Mr. Fraser continued. That was not the case. They would be posted to nonmobilised units and, while continuing their civilian occupations or studies, would be required to undergo annual camp training, and also periodical out-of-camp training. The same rule applied to "those youths who had not yet been sent to camp and to those who hereafter would be called up by ballot or. attaining "*the age of 18.
