OVERCOME BY SPIRIT FUMES

ONE YOUTH SUPPERS BURNS

Two employees of the New Zealand Dry Cleaning Company, Limited, Howe Street, Lew Roberts, aged 16, of 23, Virginia Avenue, Eden Terrace, and Harold Resetar, aged 15, of 9, Sandringham Road, were admitted to the Auckland Hospital this morning suffering from the effects of contacting some spirit at work. The youths were engaged in cleaning out an underground, spirit tank. Resetar was rendered unconscious bv fumes and Roberts burned by the spirit. Both were suffering from shock when taken to hospital in a St. John ambulance. Hospital authorities reported this afternoon that the condition of the two was fairly serious.
