AUSTRALIAN POLITICS
NEW PARTY ESTABLISHED Reed. 2 p.m. SYDNEY, this day. A new Australian political party, the Liberal Democratic party, has been launched in Sydney. Policy points announced include a classless Government, co-operation with the United States and more pay for soldiers. The party is sponsoredby Mr. Stanley Crick, a former Lord Mayor of Sydney, and Mr. E. K. White, president of the AustralianAmerican Co-operation Movement, who say it is aimed at representing the "little man." Recently the formation of a soldiers and citizens' political party was announced. Both groups expect to contest seats next Federal elections.
