NEW SCHOOL TO OPEN

ONEHUNGA INTERMEDIATE

The new Onehunga Intermediate School, which was used for some time for hospital purposes, will be opened on April 1. The pupils, numbering 470, will be drawn from forms 1 and 2 in the Mount Roskill, Royal Oak, Te Papapa, and Onehunga districts.

At the end of the present month, the Newton West School, a very old building, will be closed, and as far as possible, the pupils will be accommodated at the Newton Central and Grey Lynn Schools.
