VITAMIN SECRET
Professor Solves Nature's Greatest Mystery TRIUMPH op modern CHEMISTRY Rec. 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 11. The New York Times says Professor Vincent Duvigneaud, of Cornell University Medical College, announced the discovery of the chemical architecture of biotin, Nature's most powerful vitamin, at a meeting of the New York section of the American Chemical Society. The discovery is hailed as one of the great triumphs of modern chemistry and is certain to lead to many important new developments. It is regarded as a particular triumph for American chemists, since many of Europe's leading chemists have also been trying to solve one of Nature's greatest mysteries. The discovery is expected to pave the way for the synthesis of supervitamin, which is so difficult to obtain in pure form that it sells at the rate of 4.000.000 dollars an ounce, making it the world's most precious substance.
