Christie, zoning officer for the North Island, at New Plymouth last night. He explained that the complete cessation of retail delivery throughout New Zealand presented many difficulties. "The action is essential because of the serious situation concerning tyres, petrol and labour." Mr. Christie said. . He considered that a further reduction in petrol allowances could be expected as soon as large-scale offensive actions were started by the United Nations, and he predicted more zoning of transport in the dairy Industry.
