"MUST CEASE"
ALL RETAIL DELIVERIES (0.C.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. "Other than milk, coal and firewood, the War Cabinet has decided that where possible all retail deliveries must cease," said Mr. H. M. Christie, zoning officer for the North Island, at New Plymouth last night. He explained that the complete cessation of retail delivery throughout New Zealand presented many difficulties. "The action is essential because of the serious situation concerning tyres, petrol and labour." Mr. Christie said. .
