HOSPITAL VISITS
On Saturday afternoon the chairman of the Auckland Comforts Committee, Mr. R. Beckett, paid a visit to the soldiers annexe, Auckland Hospital, and distributed over 200 bags of apples to the inmates. Mr. Beckett then paid a visit t* the Auckland Infirmary and distributed cigarettes and magazines to the patients. Yesterday members of the committee wient to the hospital and distributed magazines.
