Mr. James Fletcher left for Wellington last night.

Mr. H. A. Boucher, Consul for the United States of America in Auckland, will leave for the South to-night.

Mr. Justice O'Regan, who went South a few days ago, has returned to Auckland to conduct sittings of the Compensation Court.

The Minister of National Service, Mr. R. Semple, arrived from Wellington yesterday. He was an observer of the air-raid trial in the city to-day.

Dr. S. A. Gibbs, of Nelson and the Conservator of State Forests (ex officio), have been appointed additional members of the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Board.
