NEEDED BY ARMY

The district motor-vehicle controller, Mr. A. E. Ford, has made an urgent appeal to owners of Ford cars, 1938 models and later, Chevrolet cars, 1037 models and later, and Chrysler products in good order, to register their names, together with registration number of cars, at the Automobile Association olTice in Auckland. The cars are required for impressment for immediate Army use and will be purchased by the Government.

Mr. Ford said that unless the appeal was met l>v owners voluntarily, there would be no other course open but to select cais from the registration lists.
