HOLIDAY NOTICES TRANSPORT BOARD. CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS, 1941-42. During the holidays special and frequent services will be in operation on all routes each day. CHRISTMAS DAY, Thursday, December 25.— Ordinary Sunday Services will be in operation. Family Tickets (1/6) will be available. NEW YEAR'S EVE, Wednesday, December 31.— Ordinary Week-day Service until 11.30 p.m., alter which cars will depart City at 12.10 a.m. (approx.) for outside termini. RACES—ELLERSLIE AND EPSOM.— On Race Days, in addition to the special and frequent service from the City, extra cars are scheduled from 10.20 a.m. approx. to run direct to Ellerslie and Epsom, from Three Lamps, Ponsonby and Pitt Street (Karangahape Road). Notice is hereby given that the Christmas and New Year Holidays will be observed as follows: — The BOARD'S OFFICE will be CLOSED on December 25 and 26, 1941, and January 1 and 2. 1942. and mill be OPEN on the MORNING of December 27, 1941. for the receipt of cash and the stamping of Delivery Orders only. The WHARVES will be Closed on December 25 and 26. 1941, and January 1 and 2, 1942. The VIADUCT BRIDGE will be OPEN FOR SHIPPING and CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC from closing time on December 24, 1941, till the opening time on December 27, 1041, and from the closing time on December 31, 1941, till the opening time on January 3, 1942.
