He is staving at the Grand Hotel. Squadron-Leader A. C. McArthur, member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force selection committee, will travel to Palmerston North bv the Limited express to-night. Commander M. J. Yeatman. second naval member of the New Zealand Naval Board, has been appointed an honorary aide-de-camp on the Gover-nor-General's staff, states a Gazette notice. Mr. David J. Leahv, of Wellington with the approval of Archbishop O Shea, has been appointed president of the New Zealand Superior Council of the St. Vincent de Paul Societv in place of the late" Mr. P. D. Hoskins.j
