Net earnings of £497S are shown in the accounts of Abraham and Williams. Limited, stock and station agents, for the year ended September 50. This compared with i°374 last year and £8125 in 1039 and is struck after providing for debenture interest, social and national security, and land and income taxes.

An interim dividend of P er cent absorbed and a final dividend of 2J per cent, making 5 per cent for the year, unchanged, requires a ftirther £220/. leaving £20.40(i to be carried forward.
