TRIBUTE TO EX-MAYOR
HASTINGS PRESENTATION
(P.A.) HASTINGS, this day. Representatives of all sections of the community assembled last evening to pay a tribute to the faithful service given over a long period by Mr. G. A. Maddison and Mrs. Maddison. Mr. Maddison recently retired from the Mayoralty after 16i years in office. As an expression of the peoples regard and appreciation, a silver tea service and a cheque were presented |to Mr. and Mrs. Maddison. speakers ipaying a tribute to Mr. Maddison's efficient administration of borough affairs and of his interest in patriotic I work and soldiers going overseas.
