GERMAN TERMS TO IRAQ
CAUSES OF REBEL DISCORD Rec. 2 p.m.,. LONDON, June 15. Well-informed quarters in Jerusalem state that Germany demanded from Rashid Ali's Cabinet the cancellation of all existing oil rights, a way 12J miles wide on each side of the Bagdad railway, and, thirdly, the handing over of all Iraqi aerodromes for the duration of the war. Rashid Ali was willing to accept the terms, but a number of his colleagues refused and this disagreement helped to hasten the collapse of the revolt.
