SMALL SAFE STOLEN

THIEF IX BUTCHERY

After cutting through two gauze doors in the shop of Mr. G. W Millerchen, butcher, 815, New North Road, Mount Albert, last night, a thief entered and stole the safe which contained about £10 in cash and books and documents.

The safe was not a large one Included in the monev left in the safe was a sum which Mrs. Millerchen had collected for patriotic purposes by the sale of tickets. This money was placed in the safe on Monday.

Inquiries are being made bv the police, but so far no trace of the safe has been found.
