AIR FORCE RECRUITS,

The Royal New Zealand Air Force ; selection committee lias been exec.ptionally busy since the recruiting campaign j for the Air Force began at Auckland a mouth ago, stated Squadron-Leader A. C. ' McArthur, chairman of the committee. ! lie. said he was particularly impressed with the type of young man coming forward. All air training establishments were complete, and a steady flow of recruits was needed to maintain commit- ■ inents under the Empire scheme. . A detachment of 120 men training at the Weraroa station paraded at Palmerston North to-day - to assist the recruiting campaign, while aeroplane* living in formation added a touch of reality to the proceedings. Ihe Mayor. Mr. A. H. Ma us lord, took the salute during the march past.
