For sonic months past I have been working by the Waitakere Centennial Drive alongside of Pukeiuatakeo. arid have frequently ■watched aeroplanes flying past, sometimes at an elevation lower than the top of Pukematakeo. Sydney-Auckland flying boats also pa*s by Pukematakeo. The summit of Pukematakeo. beinir a peak project in? considerably above the ra.ngef=. constitute* a danger for aerial flyinsr at nirrhte. end n> it definitely appear? to hp on an important aerial route, a be.ioc'n light should I>e installed on the top of Pukeniatakeo without delay, otherwise there ! will some of the~e days l>e recorded vet another aerial di-aster. an.l unfortunate flyer or flyers will pay with lijfc or their lives for thi* Government"* ncjrlect in providing this elementary safeguard for our aviat'-rs ami flying machine*.
