OFFENCE BY YOUTH.

GISBORNE, this day,
Charges of being found on private premises with criminal intent and with attempted rape, were preferred against a IG-year-old youth before Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Children's Court this morning. The youth, who came from an East Coast town, was committed to the care of the Child Welfare Department.
