WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate south' east winds. Weather, fair to fine and cool. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone envelops New Zealand, while pressure is low to the south of Tasmania. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south, light; sea, smooth; weather, fine and clear; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
