Training College, leading with 13 points, continued it« Ruccess by narrowly defeatlntr Mount Eden, while University Blues, following closely vith 12 points, won its match wita Wesley. A keen match is anticipated when the two leading teams meet next Saturday. Taking the ball into Btlen territory. College kept Eden on the defence, but Mrs. Nicholson and Mrs. I* Askew proved sound in fullback position. Openings tor the attack were made by Miss J. Allan, left wing, who scored for Training College, thle being the only goal of the match. Miss P. Batty was prominent in the half line for her defentive play, and gave the wingg good support. Attack was mot by counter-attack, but poor movements were initiated, am] the game ended with no further score being registered.

Technical and Kiwi did not exhibit much combination. Some spectacular runs were made by Miss E. Candy on the wine for Kiwi, but her efforts lacked finish. Supporting the Technical forwards, Mies L.. Godfrey, right half, put the line on the attack repeatedly, some good movements by Ml** J. Coleman, Mips M. Selby and Mrs. Chamberlain leading to three goals being netted. Kiwi's only goal came off the stick of Miss F. Breenlng, centre forward, while outstanding in the full-backe was Miss M. White, whose clearing shots often turned defence into attack.

University Blues set a fast paee when they overwhelmed Wepley by five coals to one. Surprising the defence Miss J. Camplin carried the play into University territory to force a penalty corner from which Wesley opened the scoring. The students from the bully soon equalised. Ml&s J. Bilkey netting. Good combination was displayed on the attack by Miss K. Bilkey, Miss J. McGechle and Miss J. Bilkey, who were responsible for further goals. Confident play and nice stlckwork was shown by the full-backs. Miss D. Gilbert-Smith and Miss J. Bell. For Wesley Mi«= E. Spring, right nsule and Mies 34. Keeslng on the Wing initiated good movements, while Miss II Ball supported well in the half-line.
