QUEEN CARNIVAL.
CORONATION CEREMONY.
BALL AT THE TOWN HALL.
During the present week the final ceremonies will be held in connection with the queen carnival which was the big feature of the recent provincial effort to raise money for the Sick, Wounded and Distress Fund.
The winner of the queen carnival competition was the Queen of the South, Mrs. Gordon Matthews, and the coronation ceremony, a very spectacular one, will be held at a ball at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. The coronation ceremony will be repeated at concerts which will be held at the Town Hall on the two following evenings, also at a matinee there next Saturday.
