TERRITORIAL UNITS.
ARTILLERY, ENGINEERS. OFFICERS AND N.C.O.'S. Under the new scheme oE intensive training for- the Territorial Force many hundreds I of men will begin courses on ; Monday, and including units of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force in Papakura and Ngaruawahia camp the Northern Military District will have the largest force under arms since the war. • To-day officers and non-commissioned officers of the ' Ist Battalion Auckland Regiment (C.R.0.) completed a month's training at the District School, Narrow Neck, and on arrival in the. city they marched up Queen Street led by the hand of their unit. On Monday they will take over the training of the men of the battalion at the Epsom showgrounds for three months. The. officers and non-commissioned officers of the throe country battalions in the district and the Auckland Company of the New Zealand Scottish Kcgiment will begin a course extending over two months at the District School on Monday. Leaving by the Taneatua express on Monday for two months at Ngaruawahia camp will be 170 officers and non-commissioned officers of artili lery and engineer units in the city.
