PETROL FOR TRAVELLERS. ..' LICENSES CUT 20 PER CENT. - (By Telegraph.— Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Commercial travellers appear to be the •hardest hit in tho Dominion-wide effort by the Government to conserve petrol stocks by enforcing a. 20 per cent reduction in licenses. The Christchurch Oil Fuel Controller said to-day that the maximum allowance to commercial travellers would be 45 gallons a moiith for heavy cars, and about 25 gallons for ' light cars, irrespective of previous issues. In 60IH0 cases a reduction has been made from 120 gallons, and only exceptional circumstances would bo reviewed. All other travellers, such as salcS7ncn and insurance agents',' arc reduced to a maximum of 30 gallons. ■■'
