NORTHCOTE.

At the annual meeting of parishioners of St. John the Baptist Anglican, Church at Xorthcote, the report, which v.-as the eighty-eecond in the history of the parish, stated that the contributions to missions had shown an increase and that during the year the number of confirmees- was the highest since 1926. The vicar, Rev. F. C. Truman, stated that the outstanding event of the year had been the installation of a new pipe organ, made possible by the bequest of the late Mr. Hill. New altar rails had also baen given by Mr. G. Hunt. The following officers were elected:— Vicar's warden, Mr. P. C. Cross: people's warden, Mr. P. Minns; vestry, Messrs. R. D. Kelly (secretary). A. Taylor (treasurer). W. E. Carter, T. Joll. A. D. Jefferr, A. E. H. Harrison, T. G. Fielder, P. Onjemuth, R. G. Hunt, A. E. Harding, F. C. Swinbank, F. G. Fielder.
