NAVAL APPOINTMENT.
AUCHXANDER ON H.M.S. RENOWN. Surgeon-Lieutenant G. L. Evans, R.N., youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Evans, of Auckland, who was attached to the Naval Barracks, Portsmouth,
after leaving New Zealand 18 months ago, is now serving on H.M.S. Renown, having joined the battle-cruiser on February 29. Surgeon-Lieutenant Evans is an old toy of the Auckland Grammar School.
