"A Brilliant Success." Mr. R. A. McMillan, owner-trainer of the New Zealand pacer Uenuku. said that he was greatly impressed with trotting under electric light and that the popular approval was most marked. The carnival was a brilliant success in every respect. He deeply regretted the shoulder injury to l enukii. which possibly had occurred while the horse was rolling, as his prospects of gaining great prominence at the Championship had been the brightest. However. New Zealand liorse.s had maintained Dominion standards and the reputation of the Dominion as an acknowledged leader in breeding champions.
