Newspaper comment on the statements in the House of Commons yesterday regarding Mr. Hore-Belisha's resignation stresses the negative aspect of the Prime Minister's spcceh and welcomes the assurance of no change in Army dcinocratisation nnd of no disagreement between Mr. Chamberlain and Mr, Hore-Belisha on general policy. There is general agreement that Mr. Hore-Belisha may soon return to an important office. The conclusion by the "Manchester (Junrdian," which is typical of the general attitude towards the incident, is, "There for ,tlic time the matter ends. Mr. Hore-Belisha 1 will yet come back again. ' Meanwhile let us get on with the most vigorous jtossible prosecution of the war."
