STILL FAST AGROUND.
AUSTRALIAN MOTOR LINER. (Received 1.30 p.m.) DXEY, this day. The Burns, iTiilp motor vessel Merkur (5952 tons), which went ashore off the Northern Territory ccwst last Tuesday, is still fast aground. Attempts to tow her off the reef have failed. The and another Burns, Philp liner, .the Marella, are now standing by. Calm weather prevailSj and the Merkur is in no danger. .
