SENT TO JAPAN AND RUSSIA. (Received 1 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, January 1". The Californian oil producers' umpire, Mr. William R. Pemberton, giving evidence before the Congressional Committee, said that over 77,000 barrels of oil and aviation petrol has been sent to Japan daily for many months. In December the shipments were over 110,000 barrels daily. Exports of aviation petrol to Russia had increased since the invasion of Finland. He added that oil producers felt it was good business to deal with Russia and Japan. j
