PERSONAL.
Dr. M. H. Watt, Director-General of Health, is visiting Auckland. Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. A. G. Brash, 8.V., Sc., of Invercargill, has been appointed a Governent veterinary surgeon in Christchurch. Mr. A. H. Johns, secretary of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Limited, has arrived in Wellington from Melbourne on a visit to Xew Zealand. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., arrived from the south bv the Limited express this morning and left again for Te Kuiti by the three o'clock express this afternoon. Captain F. Searle, of the Salvation Army in Wanganui, lias been promoted to adjutant and transfarred to Newton.Captain G. Spillett, Wellington, will replace Captain Searle in Wanganui. Mr. T. J. Watts, secretary and advisory superintendent of the Xew Zealand United Fire Brigades' Association, returned from the south by the Limited express this morning. The Rev. Father E. A. Forsman, of Ormond, Gisborne, has been called for service as a chaplain of the Roman Catholic faith with the Xew Zealand Special Forces and will fak.3 up his new duties at Burnham camp.
