BIG PARADE.
WEDNESDAY'S MARCH.
SPECIAL FORCE UNITS.
FROM CITY TO DOMAIN.
Three special trains will bring troops to Auckland from Papakura and Hopuhopu next Wednesday, January 3, for the- ceremonial parade at the Auckland Domain, when aU unita of the first echelon will parade at 11 o'clock under command of Lieutenant-Colonel G. B. Parkinson, R.N.Z.A. On parndo will be units and detachments of nurses, headquarters Divisional Cavalry, 4th Field Regiment, N.Z.A., headquarters Divisional Engineers, sth Field Park Company, N Z.E., Oth Field Com puny, N.Z.E., 18th (Auckland) Battalion. Divisional Ammunition Column, and 4th Reserve Motor Transport Company. Headed by a band, the parade will march by way of Beach Road, Stanley Street and the Domain Drive. At the ceremony short addresses will be given hy Colonel N. McD. Weir, officer comma nding the district, the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, and a representative of the (iovernment. After a final salute, luncheon will be served in the Outer Domain for the troops, and they will assemble again at 11.4.">. At noon they will march off by way of the Domain Drive, Park Road, ( Ira ft on Bridge, Karangahape Road, Queen Street end Beach Road to the railway station. At the Town Hall the salute will be taken by Colonel Weir and Sir Ernest Davis. When the troops march away for lunch, the public is asked to leave the Domain. Spectators will thus have a chance of obtaining good positions along the route of march. When the troops are entraining, the public will not be admitted to the station. Tn the afternoon both |he Papakura and Xgaruawfthia camps will be open to the public between three and five o'clock.
