AUSTRALIAN LAUGHS.
GEORGE WALLACE IN TOWN. No Australian comedian has ever been more popular with New Zealanders than is George Wallace, who appears on the screen of the Majestic Theatre to-morrow in a new Australian-made comedy, "Gone To The Sydney and Melbourne Press comments would make it appear that "Gone To The Doers ' is by far the beet of Che George Wallace productions to date. George Wallace has an extremely amusing style of humour, which is all his own. Nothing quite like it is presented by anyother comedian from Hollywood or England. He favours slapstick comedy of a style that never fails to bring laughs from his audiences. His foolislv ant-ics are so ridiculously funny as to be suggestive of no other comedian than Charlie Ohaplin himself, in his silent screen days, when he fell oyer places, things and people witrti apologetic urbanity. George Wallace is supported by a most competent cast of players which includes Alec Kellaway, John Fleetinp, Lois Green (well-known to New Zoalanders from her appearances here with musical comedy companies), John Dobbie and Letty Craydon.
