MOUNT HELMOS.
WAIMARINO FOR THE SOUTH.
VESSELS ON SURVEY,
WAIANA FROM WELLINGTON,
The Creek steamer Mount Helmos is discharging sulphur at Queen's wharf from Gulf of Mexico ports. She is expected to sail to-morrow e.vening for New Plymouth to complete her diecharge, Messrs. J. B. o'Loghlen and Co., Ltd., are local agents. The Union Company's steamer Waimarino is loading at Prince's wharf for Wellington, Picton, Ly ttelton, Dunedin and the Bluff, and will sail to-morrow e.vening for Wellington. The Watclilin Line motor vessel Port Tauranga will complete discharge to-day and be laid up for annual survey for a week, resuming her run early in January. The same company's motor vessel Port Waikato is also in port undergoing survey. She is scheduled to sail on January 10 for Wellington and South Island ports. The Union Company's motor ship Waiana left Lyttelton at 11 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about Sunday morning, sailing next week for Wellington. Margaret W. went on to Okahu Bay beach this morning for cleaning and painting and will return to the King's wharf to-night. (F. Co-op.) Kakapo went into Calliope Dock this morning for cleaning, painting and survey. (U.S.S. Co.) Poolta leaves Gisborne this week for Auckland and is due about Mondav. (U.S.S. Co.) Waipiata leaves Dunedin to-day for Auckland, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.) Puriri will leave Grey mouth to-nior-row for Onc.hunga and is due. on Sunday. She completes discharge at Waikato Heads. (X.S.S. Co.) Nikau is due at Onehunga to-night 1 from Nelson and will sail to-morrow evening on her return to Nelson and Motueka. (N'.S.S. Co.)
