OBITUARY.
REV. ARTHUR FOWLER.
Ihe fiiet vicar of St. Aidans parish, nemnera, the Rev. Arthur Fowler, has died at. Ipswich, according to advice received from London. Mr. Fowler trained at St. Augustine's, Canterbury and during the 20 years he spent in NewZealand, worked in Waimate, RanHora New Plymouth and Auckland. ' He was stationed at St. Aidan's from 1906 to 1912, returning to England in 1923.
MR. D. AITKENHEAD.
An old resident of the Dominion, Mr. Da\id Aitkenhead, of Runciman has died at the age of 77. Mr. Aitkenhead was horn in Glasgow, and after spending three years in Queensland, came to Xew Zealand in 188.5. For a time he lived in Mangere and later went to the Bay of Plenty, where he won several ploughing championships. After residing for a while at Wiri and then at Brook'bv", he settled in Runciman in 1929, carrying out the entire work of his model farm until his death. He is survived by his wife, five sons and three daughter.
MRS. W. P. CLEMOW.
The second daughter of the late Mr. C. J. Crago. of East Tamaki. Mrs. W. F. Clemow, has died at Stratford. Mrs. Clemow ? who was 84 years of age, came to New Zealand from England in 1891, and was a staunch supporter of the Methodist Church. She is survived "by two daughters.
