Two years after stealing a gold wrie: watch from Mrs. Lancaster, of Aby. near Louth, a thief broke into her hous again t return the booty. Mrs. La ri carter, robbed in August, 1937, always believed the watch would be returned. She eaya she prayed to that effect. It was as she lay in bed that she heard someone downstairs.
