The "Auckland Star" gratefully acknowledges receipt of Christmas greetings and good wishes for the New Year from a host of friends, subscribers, advertises, local bodies and organisations. A 'beautiful card, with a photograph of Sutherland Fall*, was received from his Excellency the GovernorGeneral, Viscount Gal way; there were greeting cards also from the Prime Minister, the Hon. M. J. Savage, and the lender of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, and the Mayoi' and Mayoress of Auckland, Sir Ernest and Lady Davis. To all who Bent the season's greetings, and to reader* everywhere, the "Auckland Star" extends cordial good wishes for Christmas and health and happiness in the coming year.
