SECOND PRIZE IN LOTTERY,

DANNEVIRKE, this day. "Mickey," the winner of the second prize in the "Our Block Cat" art union, has proved to be a woman, *the wife of a well-known Mangahei farmer, Mr. W C. Kilford.

She did not know of her good luck until this morning when a neighbour, in conversation, wondered who "Mickey" was. Mrs, Kilford nt that stage did not know, but, remembering that she i, a 4., b .°VS ht . a ticket at the Centennial Exhibition in November, she got it and compared the number with the announcement in the Dannevirke "Evening News," She then realised her good fortune.
