ROTORUA JOCKEY CLUB.
The Rotorua Racing Club will hold its annual meeting at Arawa Park oi February 10 and 12, and a most attractive programme has been drawn up, full particulars of which are advertised in this issue. The Cup, of £500, one mile and a quarter and 180 yards, is the chief item on the first day, the owner of the winner receiving a gold cup valued at £50 (with option of cash). On the second day the President's Handicap, of £350, one mile amd 160 yards, is the principal race. All the other events are excellently endowed. Nominations close with the secretary of the Avondale Jockey Club at 5 p.m., or the secretary, Mr. E. la Trobe Hill, Rotorua at 9 p.m. on January 26.
